Dr. Ellis was born and grew up in Montreal. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Literature at Concordia University and her Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph, and then went on to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. During school she was active in the student council and the student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society. Following her graduation from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2001, Dr. Ellis joined the veterinary team at Hawkesbury Animal Hospital, and in 2011, joined the practice partnership. Her special interests include radiology, ultrasound and surgery.
Outside of work, Dr. Ellis enjoys renovation and construction, and along with her husband built a new house from the ground up. They share their home with “Heidi” the Schnauzer (a HAH adoptee) and their 4 cats. Other interests include running, interior decorating and travel.
